Casting Call: Feature Film “Shotgun Wedding” – 1930s Motel Guest & Law Enforcement Roles

Job Details: We are seeking local talent from the Catskills area to portray 1930s motel guests and law enforcement officers for the upcoming feature film, “Shotgun Wedding.” This project requires exterior scenes. Participants will be required to attend a costume fitting in Brooklyn, with transportation provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a period film and gain experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in costume fittings and adhere to the wardrobe requirements.
• Work cooperatively with film crew and follow directions.
• Maintain professionalism on set at all times.
• Be prepared for period-specific grooming adjustments (haircuts).

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be local to the Catskills area or willing to work locally.
• Comfortable with 1930s era specific hairstyles (Women: tops of shoulders/chin length; Men: no fades or edging).
• Available to film on specified dates and travel to Brooklyn for costume fitting.
• Able to engage with environment and period setting authentically.

Compensation:

• Pay rate: $208 for an 8-hour day.
