Casting Call: Actress for Short Film
Project Description: We are casting for an inspiring and captivating short film that delves into rich narratives rooted in Nigerian culture. This project aims to bring authentic stories to the forefront through powerful performances and dynamic storytelling.
Job Details: We are seeking talented black women of Nigerian heritage to portray characters that are central to the narrative of our short film. The film explores themes of heritage, identity, and resilience, making it a significant platform for showcasing cultural depth and personal artistry.
Roles Available:
- Multiple roles for female characters aged between 40-70.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the director and production team to bring the character to life.
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals and filming dates.
- Participate in costume fittings and promotional activities as required.
- Contribute to a respectful and creative filming environment.
Requirements:
- Must be a black woman of Nigerian heritage, aged 40-70.
- Based in the United Kingdom and able to travel to filming locations.
- Previous acting experience in film, theater, or similar (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to portray complex emotions and develop a deep connection with the character.
- Strong communication skills and reliability.
Compensation Details:
- This is a paid role. Specific rates will be discussed upon casting and will align with industry standards.
