Casting Call: Child Actors for Film Scene
Job Description: We are seeking child actors to portray Muslim children attending a mosque in an upcoming film scene. This is a great opportunity for young actors to gain on-set experience and be part of a dynamic film production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the filming of a mosque scene, portraying a Muslim child engaged in various activities such as prayer, learning, or interacting with peers and adults.
- Follow directions from the director and crew to deliver authentic performances.
- Be prepared to work in a respectful and professional environment that may involve waiting periods and multiple takes.
Requirements:
- Age: Must be between 4 and 11 years old.
- Appearance: Should be able to convincingly portray a Muslim child.
- Availability: Must be available for filming on Tuesday, April 16th.
- Location: Filming will take place in Queens, NY. Local hires preferred.
- Experience: Prior acting experience is a plus but not required. Must be able to take direction well and interact naturally with other actors.
- Permissions: Must have a legal guardian present on set at all times. All applicable work permits for child actors must be in order prior to filming.
Compensation:
- Rate: $208 for 8 hours of work (SAG rate). Overtime will be paid in accordance with SAG guidelines.
- Food and beverages will be provided on set.
