Casting Call: Background Actor for “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” NBC Pilot
Job Details: Hylton Casting is seeking background actors to participate in the filming of a new NBC pilot titled “Grosse Pointe Garden Society.” This opportunity is open to individuals of all genders, ethnicities, and ages. The production will be filmed in Atlanta, GA and the casting is for scenes scheduled to be shot in April and May 2024.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to follow directions from the director, assistant directors, and production staff.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor on set at all times.
- Being punctual and present on filming days during the scheduled times.
- Potentially fulfilling various non-speaking roles in crowd scenes, street scenes, or other background settings as required by the production.
- Remaining attentive and responsive over long periods, often in a holding area, until needed on set.
- Preserving the integrity of the set, props, and costumes.
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative atmosphere during production.
Requirements:
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
- Based in or able to travel to Atlanta, GA for filming dates without requiring travel compensation.
- Flexible schedule allowing for availability on weekdays and/or weekends, as filming dates may vary.
- No experience necessary, but previous work as a background actor is a plus.
- Must be reliable and have good stamina for what can sometimes be long shooting days.
- Must adhere to set etiquette and take direction well.
- Comfortable being around production equipment and able to follow safety guidelines.
Compensation Details:
- This is a paid opportunity. Specific rates will be disclosed upon selection for the role.
- Compensation will be in accordance with industry standards for background actors.
- Payment will be rendered on a per-day basis, reflecting hours spent on set.
- Meals will be provided on shooting days.
