Netflix’s House of Cards season 5 is now casting lawyers, photographers, marines, stenographers and even babies in Washington, D.C.

Netflix’s hit TV series House of Cards is now casting dozens of background actors for multiple roles in Baltimore, Maryland. Casting directors are looking for extras to work on scenes filming between mid-January and mid-February. Producers are seeking the following roles:

  • TURKISH MALES & FEMALES 18+
  • SYRIAN BABIES AGE 1-2
  • REAL STENOGRAPHERS – MALES & FEMALES 18+
  • LAWYERS – FRESH FACED MALES & FEMALES 20s+
  • FIT MALES AGE 18+
  • PHOTOGRAPHERS – MALES & FEMALES 18+
  • DC POWER TYPES – MALES & FEMALES 30+

About House of Cards:

 House of Cards centers around the ruthless politician Francis Underwood and his wife and partner-in-crime Claire. The show has been based in Baltimore since the first episode, largely doubling for the city of Washington, DC. Maryland offers filming incentives for both film and TV shows, with TV producers able to access a tax credit of up to 27%.

NOW CASTING PAID BACKGROUND ACTORS FOR MULTIPLE ROLES TO BE PUT IN PHOTO SELECT PACKAGES FOR OUR ***LAST*** EPISODE BLOCK OF THE SEASON!
These roles will all be photo selected by the DIRECTOR of this episode block! It is important to answer ALL information, have FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES for consideration, and submit the requested information correctly the first time! This is the final episode block before we wrap the season.

Staff and guests at the Turkish embassy. Please include photos in suit, suit separates, upscale attire, etc. Must have natural hair color, no visible tattoos.
Fresh face preferred – please indicate if you have not worked on the show before in any small scenes

SYRIAN BABIES AGE 1-2
A Syrian refugee baby. This baby will be held in someone’s arms/hands on set—they must be comfortable around large groups & new people.

Real stenographer with your own steno machine. Must have natural hair color, no visible tattoos
