“Katy Keene” is now casting photo doubles in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on October 10th in New York City.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- GWCI is seeking SAG-AFTRA/NONUNION to photo double for caucasian female 5’1 – 5’3 w/short brown hair works 10/10 in NYC area for Season 1 of the CW Series “Katy Keene!”
About Katy Keene:
According to Deadline, Katy Kene is written by Aguirre-Sacasa and Michael Grassi and directed by Maggie Kiley. “Katy Keene centers around the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters — including fashion legend-to-be Katy Keene and singer-songwriter Josie McCoy. — as they chase their twentysomething dreams in New York City. The musical dramedy chronicles the origins and struggles of four aspiring artists trying to make it on Broadway, on the runway and in the recording studio.”
How to apply:
GWCI is seeking SAG-AFTRA/NONUNION to photo double for caucasian female 5’1 – 5’3 w/short brown hair works 10/10 in NYC area for Season 1 of the CW Series “Katy Keene!”
-You must have full day/night availability from early morning to late night as we do not have tentative start/end time yet.
-There could likely be MULTIPLE dates on-going throughout the season until mid-January. General open availability is preferred but not required.
-Photo Double rate is $204/8hrs
-If you are NOT a member of SAG-AFTRA then we would request a waiver for you to do this work. (if you have received Taft-Hartley waivers in the past please let us know how many)
If interested/available, please email [email protected] and change subject line to read “FB PHOTO DOUBLE – AVAILABLE”. Please send 3-4 photos with PLAIN BACKGROUND from the front, side, back shoulders/waist up so we can clearly see your skin tone, hair length, face, etc. And also 2-3 full body photos so we can see if the body type fits with the actor’s. Please also include photos of BOTH hands, back and palm!
The match needs to be very exact so I have to make sure by seeing a ton of photos! In natural lighting would be best, again to clearly depict skin tone.

-If NONUNION, please let us know how many Taft-Hartley waivers you’ve received in the past

-Which forms of ID’s you will bring to fill out your i9 if chosen (if you have a VISA or EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION CARD please let us know!)
-Confirm you are over 18 years old
-Current sizes: Height, weight, dress, bust x waist x hip, and shoe
-Confirm that you have full availability for the work date 10/10
-Are you willing to alter your hair to match the principal’s (trim/cut/color/etc)? If not, let us know if you have issues with any aspect of altering your hair
-If you have general open availability through mid-January
We will let you know if we are going to submit your photos to the director to be considered for the role!
