The casting call is for real Starbucks baristas to take on the role of hand models. As a hand model, your task will illustrate the intricate movements and techniques that professional baristas employ when crafting the perfect cup of coffee at Starbucks.   • Milk Frothing and Latte Art Creation: Showcase your finesse in frothing milk and create mesmerizing latte art designs.

  • Handling Coffee Accessories and Tools: Highlight your adeptness in handling various coffee-making accessories and tools.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Starbucks Barista Experience: Currently employed as a barista at Starbucks or possess substantial prior experience as a Starbucks barista.
  • Dexterity and Grace: Exhibit excellent hand and finger dexterity with the ability to perform delicate tasks gracefully.
  • Well-Groomed Hands: Maintain clean, well-groomed hands without visible tattoos or excessive nail polish.
  • Availability: Be available for the callback on August 4th, 2023, and the wardrobe dates on August 23 & 24, 2023 (subject to confirmation). Additionally, I must be free to work on August 28, 29, 30, 31, 2023, and September 1, 2023 (weather hold).
  • Location: Reside in or near Toronto or be willing to travel at your own expense.

Selected baristas will receive the following compensation:

Wardrobe Fee: $75 (Payment for attending wardrobe fitting)

Session & Buyout: $1200 (Payment for the commercial shoot and the right to use your hand model footage in the ad)

Standby Rate: $500 (Payment per day if you are required to be on standby but not utilized for shooting)
