“HERE TO PROTEST” – Seeking males and females, all ethnicities, ages 18 (must be graduated from high school) to 30s to play peaceful protestors. This will be a daytime exterior (outdoors) scene.
TEST: Tues, Jan 26th (available between 6AM – 10:30AM)
FILM: Thurs, Jan 28th
PAY RATE: $112/8 + $56 Covid pre-employment test stipend
Officer #2
“OFFICER #2” – Seeking an African American male, ages 20s – 40s to play the partner of a day player police officer (officer #1). The director is looking for someone larger in size/stature, possibly on the well-built side. Should be a bit intimidating, muscular, etc. Think Terry Crews from Brooklyn Nine Nine, but we can scale back from there ???? This will be an interior (indoors) scene, filmed in the evening/night.
“SAD SON” – Seeking a dark haired caucasian male (roughly 9-12 years old) to play the son of our day player actors. There may be a bit of acting required (non-verbal) in terms of facial expression/emotion – the scene is the child watching their father get arrested in front of them. If you have any acting experience or a resume, please include it in your email. Also be sure to include a minor work permit if we don’t already have it on file.

Season 8 Episode 4 Casting Call
Hi, everybody! We’re starting a preliminary search for a few featured roles in 804, but there’s still more to come – stay tuned.

2 PHOTOS – please send a CURRENT headshot (doesn’t need to be professional – a selfie is fine) and a full length photo. The pictures MUST be reflective of your current look (hair style, hair color, facial hair, etc.).
The roles below are all being picture-selected by the director, so please make sure to send good quality photos with proper lighting.
“THE EXCHANGE” – Seeking a caucasian male, “cop type,” roughly 35-45 years old to play a dead body. This role will require multiple days for pre-employment testing, a wardrobe fitting, filming, etc., so open/flexible availability is important. There may be a taped audition or zoom meeting with the director prior to the final selection process; more information will be provided for those who make it through the first round selection.
You must be available both Tuesday 11/17 and Wednesday 11/18 for sure – other required dates are TBD; could be anywhere between 11/9 and 11/21.
Pay rate is $150/8, plus a testing stipend ($75 – half day’s pay) and wardrobe fitting bump ($25).
“DEALER’S CHOICE” – Seeking Hispanic/Latino males, roughly 20’s-early 30’s to play a featured drug dealer and his crew. This role will require multiple days for pre-employment testing, a wardrobe fitting, filming, etc., so open/flexible availability is important.
Filming dates are TBD; should have availability between 11/9 and 11/28.
Pay rate is $112/8, plus a testing stipend ($56 – half day’s pay) and a potential wardrobe fitting bump ($25, if applicable).
“ON BED REST” – Seeking caucasian males, approximately 50s – 60s to play a father in a hospital bed. This role will require multiple days for pre-employment testing, a potential wardrobe fitting, filming, etc., so open/flexible availability is important.
Filming dates are TBD; should have availability between 11/9 and 11/28.
Pay rate is $112/8, plus a testing stipend ($56 – half day’s pay) and a potential wardrobe fitting bump ($25, if applicable).
Skateboarders Casting Call

“SKATEBOARD KID” – Seeking a Hispanic/Latino male, approximately 12-14 years old with skateboard skills. We are looking for someone with experience; should be comfortable on the skateboard, maybe knows a few tricks. Please take a short video of your child riding on their skateboard, and have them demonstrate any tricks if they’re comfortable doing so.
Dates are still loosely being figured out, but it looks like the schedule will be:
Pre-employment testing: Friday 11/13 (half day’s pay; TBD)
Wardrobe fitting: Monday 11/16 ($25 fitting bump)
Filming: Thursday 11/19 (higher rate; TBD)
The pay rate is going to be a higher skill-based rate, but this will depend on your child’s experience level and what sort of actions are needed on camera. This will be a great featured spot for the right person!
Intimidating Types Casting Call
Please read the description below (carefully!) and submit an email to cpdbackground@gmail.com with the subject line “WITNESS PROTECTION” if you fit the criteria:
“WITNESS PROTECTION” – Seeking males, ages 20s-50s, any ethnicity, to play an undercover witness protection officer. We’re looking for big, burly intimidating types; long hair, full beards, large stature, etc. This will be a director-selected role, so please send us a full length photo, as well as a selfie. We need to see your CURRENT look, so please date a piece of paper and hold it up in your photo so we can verify this is how you look today.
There may be a potential wardrobe fitting, but as of right now, these are the two dates you’d need to be available:

Season 8 Episode 3 Casting Call
Hi, everyone! We’re beginning some very early prep for Episode 803 and will be looking for people to play family members of one of our day player actors, as well as a photo double for the actor. We don’t have specific dates yet, so we’re asking for submissions from people who have a very open or flexible schedule. There will be pre-employment testing, a wardrobe fitting, still photos, and on-camera work.

“REVENGE GONE WRONG” – Seeking African American, Puerto Rican, Hispanic/Latinx, biracial/mixed, ethnically ambiguous males and females, ages 20s-70s to play the slain family members of our day player actor. You will be taking family photos for set dressing, crime scene photos, and working on camera for the crime scene shoot. *Must be comfortable with SFX makeup and fake blood.*
PAY RATES:
-Pre-employment testing: $56 (half day’s pay for adults)
-Wardrobe fitting: $25 bump
-Still photos: $112/8 (if done on separate day than filming)
-Filming: $112/8 minimum; may be a higher rate depending on amount of SFX makeup and blood used. TBD until we have more information about the role.
“SEEING DOUBLE” – Seeking an African American, Puerto Rican, Hispanic/Latinx, biracial/mixed, ethnically ambiguous female or male, age 9-12 (preferably on the smaller/younger side) to work as a photo double for our day player actor. Height should be roughly between 4′ and 4’6″, and weight around 60-70 lbs. Please make sure to send CURRENT photos of your child so we can see their hair style, and include a copy of their work permit if we haven’t already confirmed we have it on file this season.
PAY RATES:
-Pre-employment testing: $75 (half day’s pay for minors)
-Filming: $150/8 (per day; multiple days expected – TBD)
*Also, note about minor work permits: We have been told that non-union background actors do NOT need a Coogan account. Please make sure to specify at the time of applying for your permit, that your child is BACKGROUND and non-speaking.
Night Game Casting Call

Please make sure your photos do NOT have a filter – these roles are selected by the director and we cannot submit filtered/Snapchat pictures. Photos must represent your current look.

“NIGHT GAME” – Seeking African American boys, 12-15 years old, to play basketball for a nighttime scene. Parents, you will be required to complete a night waiver (provided by us) for your child to work until 9pm the night of filming. If you have not already submitted your child’s work permit this season, please make sure to attach a copy of it in your email.
You must be available on both of the following dates:
-Wednesday 10/21 – pre-employment testing ($75 / half day’s pay)
-Saturday 10/24 – filming ($150/8)
You do not need to have basketball skills for this scene – it’s just a fun pickup game between the neighborhood kids.
