‘CARA’ horror feature film open casting call in London, England.
Are you looking for a horror film that shocks and horrifies or chills and thrills? If so, there’s good news: the upcoming dark horror feature film CARA is here!
CARA needs some talented actors to bring the story to life. They are currently casting four distinct roles, each with its unique challenges.
Bernadette is Cara’s mother, who could be the keeper of dark secrets she’d prefer were left buried. This role requires a female actor between 50-60 years old with darker hair and Scottish accents or highly capable of a Scottish accent.
Next up is Sam – a low-level dealer who has connections with Cara. This physical role involves combat and restraints (safely). Actors aged 19-25 should apply.
Michael is Cara’s father, who has been incapacitated following a stroke. Makeup effects will be involved in this role, as well as some challenging scenes. Male actors aged 50-60 should consider themselves for this part.
Finally, we have Benny – a tall, well-built male mid 20’s – mid 30’s dealer with dangerous tendencies. This role also involves makeup effects and combat scenes.

Filming will take place in Manchester between 1st May to 13th May 2020, with pay ranging from £100 to £150 per day plus food travel and other reasonable expenses provided. CASTING CALL: We are casting for our upcoming dark horror feature film called CARA
The following roles are available:
BERNADETTE: Female, playing 50-60, darker hair, Scottish (or highly capable at
Scottish accent). Bernadette is Cara’s mother and could be the keeper of dark secrets she’d prefer were left buried.
SAM: Male, 19-25. Sam is a low-level dealer who is involved with Cara. This would be a
physical role involving combat and being restrained for periods (safely,
obviously).
MICHAEL: Male, 50-60. Michael is Cara’s father, who is incapacitated following a
stroke. This role will involve makeup effects and some challenging scenes.
BENNY: Male mid 20’s – Mid 30’s. Tall, well built. Benny is a dealer, a dangerous man.
Tavolves make-up effects and combat scenes.
FILMING WILL TAKE PLACE IN MANCHESTER AROUND THE 1st – 13th MAY
PAY BETWEEN £100 AND £150 PER DAY WITH FOOD, TRAVEL, AND REASONABLE EXPENSES
