OWN’s Queen Sugar casting call for high school dancers in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Ava DuVernay’s new TV series Queen Sugar is looking for high school dance teams to work on an upcoming scene filming in New Orleans, Louisiana. Casting directors are looking for dancers between the ages of 14 to 18 to work on an upcoming episode of Queen Sugar. There is no set date for this scene but it will fall on a weekday between May 25th and June 15th.

About Queen Sugar:

Queen Sugar is an upcoming drama TV series, created, directed and executive produced by Ava DuVernay alongside Oprah Winfrey.

The series is based on novel with same name by Natalie Baszile.Queen Sugar follows the life of two sisters, Nova Bordelon (playing by Rutina Wesley), the formidable journalist and activist from New Orleans, and Charley Bordelon (Dawn-Lyen Gardner), a modern woman, who, with her teenage daughter Micah, leaves her upscale apartment in Los Angeles and moves to the heart of Louisiana to claim an inheritance from her recently departed father – an 800-acre sugarcane farm.

MUST HAVE DANCE or CHEER EXPERIENCE
MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND SOCIAL SECURITY CARD
