'A Country Called Home' Starring Imogen Poots is holding an open casting call for actors!
'A Country Called Home' starring Imogen Poots from 'Need for Speed' and '28 Weeks Later' is holding an open casting call for speaking roles in Texas. According to reports, Imogen Poots will star in a new comedy about a woman whose life gets shaken up by the news of her father's death. She later embarks on a journey to a small town in Texas in order to redefine her life.
A Country Called Home will be produced by Nicolas Gonda from "Tree of Life" and directed by Anna Axter, who also wrote the screenplay for 'A Country Called Home'.
According to the casting call, Vicky Boone Casting is looking for people of all ages and ethnicities for various speaking roles in the movie.
Producers are especially interested in casting several lead and supporting roles.

The casting call will consist of a short talk with a member of the casting team and possibly an interview on camera.
Seeking the following roles- Adorable caucasian boy, age 4-5, for a lead role in a SAG feature! Please share this with anyone who might know a match. – For the role of “Tommy” we are looking for an adorable, creative, smart, sweet, outgoing, imaginative 4-5 year old boy who enjoys pretending. For story purposes, he need to be Caucasian with light or reddish hair. No previous experience is necessary.
- Plus size women, Caucasian, age 40-55 years old for a large supporting role. This character is likely 225 lbs – 400 lbs.
- Older men and women, Caucasian, age 75-85, for lead roles

Producers are looking for an adorable, creative, smart, sweet, outgoing, imaginative 4-5 year old boy who enjoys pretending.
For story purposes, he need to be Caucasian with light or reddish hair. No previous experience is necessary.
