Who They Are Seeking:

  • A transgender or Nonbinary Teleprompter Pros: The casting call is open to individuals between 18 and 60 from all racial backgrounds. They are looking for experienced actors with strong teleprompter skills who can convey a friendly and approachable demeanor while also exuding expertise on the subject matter. Talent selected for this role will be responsible for delivering three long-form scripts totaling approximately 15 minutes of content.
  • Cisgender Teleprompter Pros: Besides the above, T Creatives Casting is also seeking cisgender actors. Females or males between the ages of 25 and 45, of AAPI, Latinx/Latine, or white backgrounds, are encouraged to apply. Just like in the previous category, actors in this role should possess strong teleprompter skills and demonstrate both approachability and expertise. They will also be responsible for delivering three long-form scripts with a total duration of around 15 minutes.

Selected actors will receive a competitive compensation package. The rate for this project is $600 for a 10-hour workday plus a $300 buyout fee. In addition, actors will receive 10% for agent fees, travel pay (train fare or $100 for gas within 3 hours from CT), hotel accommodations, and a $35 meal allowance. It’s important to note that all terms of this agreement are non-negotiable.

STORYLINE:

This Educational Video Series is part of the ongoing effort by the Maryland Judiciary to educate Maryland residents about the law. This project will help Maryland residents understand the process for legally changing their name or their gender identity.
