The shoot dates are on April 15 and 16, and the location will be at a studio in Bed-Stuy with a set built to look like an old dive bar. The rate for the shoot will be $150, and the schedule will be 2-3 hours per person, with two people in the morning, a crew break for lunch, and two-three people in the evening. Also, snacks, drinks, coffee, and water will be provided, while the “Ma” character’s Uber ride will be provided.

The project’s major goal is to be shown to gallerists and art & photography publications to expand its audience in a fine art context. This personal project will lighten various aspects of bar life, from the energetic dancers to the bar manager and proprietor and their varied personalities.

Here are the details of the casting call:

  • “Ma” – Bar proprietor, old white woman, short, rail thin, puffy white hair, coke bottle glasses, Estelle Getty/Sophia Petrillo
  • Lynn – Bar manager, middle-aged woman with long dark hair and brown eyes.
  • Daughter #1 – A smaller, younger, shorter version of Lynn, in her mid-late 20s with dark hair and dark eyes.
  • Daughter #2 is a smaller, younger version of Lynn but taller and leaner.
  • Dancers – (Burlesque Type) Must be comfortable being photographed partially nude. Photographed during the scene right before dancing and right after. Focus on off moments after the dance. Sitting at the bar having a drink alone in their costume, in street clothes.

My digital tech & right hand man Isaac Schell is shooting a personal project and we are looking for the “characters” – 

The project will be shown to gallerists and/or art & photography publications in hope of getting them shown to a wider audience in a fine art context.  

DETAILS:

Date: April 15 & 16 

Location: Studio in Bed-Stuy with set built to look like an old dive bar.

Rate: $150 for the shoot 

Time: We will be shooting talent individually and will schedule 2-3 hrs per person, probably two people in the morning, crew break for lunch, then two-three people in the evening. 

Meals: We will provide snacks, drinks, coffee, water. 

Travel: We will provide Uber for the  “Ma” character. 

Casting Brief:
