Fox’s Star Season 2 is now casting extras for a featured roles in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are looking for talents for the upcoming next episode of STAR season 2. Filming will shoot in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Producers are seeking the following types:
- Backup Singers: Looking for women ages 21- 30 yrs old to portray backup singers.
- Elderly man in wheelchair. Looking for an older African-American male, 60’s and up, with an electric wheelchair.
- Male music Group : Looking for heavy set men to portray a music group.
- Male music artist : Looking for a male who appears to be African-American with wild hair to portray a music artist.
- Mangers: Looking for men and women to portray managers to music artist.
- Inmates: Looking for men to portray intimidating inmates for a shower scene. Height must be between 5’9″-6’0″.Must be comfortable portraying nude(will have a towel on).
- Delivery Man: Looking for a male who appears to be African-American, age 27- 40, to portray a Delivery Man.
About Star:
Star tracks down her sister, SIMONE (newcomer Brittany O’Grady), and her Instagram bestie, ALEXANDRA (newcomer Ryan Destiny), and together, the trio journeys to Atlanta to become music superstars. Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award, Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award winner Queen Latifah (“Bessie,” “Bringing Down The House”) plays CARLOTTA, a surrogate mother to the young crew.
