Daniel Radcliff Says He’s Not Interested in Working on a Harry Potter Sequel

Date:

Daniel Radcliffe says he’s too young for JK Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter’ Sequel

“My inclination is to say ‘No’,” Daniel Radcliffe told TV critics this afternoon, where he was asked if he would be interested in playing an older version of Harry Potter.

The question came around after JK Rowling posted a short story about an older and married Harry Potter. The short story centers around the Quidditch World Cup 2014 and describes Harry Potter, now turning 34 as having “Threads of silver” in his black hair. He also has a mysterious cut over his cheekbone, which is most likely due to his career as a wizard trained to arrest dark wizards.

Daniel Radcliff was at Summer TV Press Tour 2014 to discuss his four episodes on Ovation’s black comedy, A Young Doctor’s Notebook and Other Stories where he plays a younger, morphine addicted version of a doctor played by Jon Hamm.
