Single Ladies is a television series off of the VH1 network. It was created by Stacy A. Littlejohn and produced by Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit. The show follows three close friends and their relationships. The show first premiered in 2011 with a two hour television film. The show features LisaRaye McCOy, Charity Shea, Denise Vasi, and D.B. Woodside. Queen Latifah says she is “particularly proud” of the series stating that she wanted the ladies to talk about mature things.

The show was first premiered as a movie to a test audience and then later turned into a 12 episode series. The response has been mixed since the show premiered but has received a large amount of viewers.
