AMC’s ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ Casting Call for Men, Women and Kids in Atlanta for a 1980s Scene

Producers and Casting directors for ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ are looking for extras to work on the upcoming AMC TV series, filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Upcoming for Halt and Catch Fire – Again set in 1983 looking for the following:

Men 18 – 50’s — hair over ears for sure — also any guys with mustaches and full beards

Ladies – older, “hard bitten” ladies (45-55 age) — Attractive women 20’s to 40’s with at least shoulder length hair.

Doubles for two little girls: 1 6 y.o. HEIGHT: 46″ DRESS: 5/6 PANTS: 6 SHIRT: 5 SHOE: 10

8 y.o. HEIGHT: 51″ DRESS: 6/7 PANTS: 7 SHIRT: 6/7 SHOE: 13

AMC’s pilot ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ is set in the early 1980s, it dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, Joe (Lee Pace); an engineer, Gordon (Scoot McNairy); and a prodigy, Cameron (Mackenzie Davis), whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time. The project was written on spec by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rogers, who will exec produce with Lisco, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein. The pilot was directed by Juan José Campanella.
