‘Divergent’ star, Miles Teller still owes $100,000 in acting classes and he still has not paid it back.
Despite having appeared in several major motion pictures including ‘Divergent’, ‘Insurgent’, and ‘Whiplash’, Â Miles Teller still has not paid off his NYU student loans, which, according to Vulture, is $100,000.
Despite it working out it is hard to tell if $100,000 in student debt is worth it. Anyways, Miles Teller revealed why he has not paid off his student loans, even though he is in movies now and can:
“My business manager says the interest is so low, there’s no sense in paying them off. I can, if I want to have that badge of accomplishment, but until then I still very much have my NYU loans.” [Vulture]
People usually pay off their student loans because it will open the door to financial freedom. However, when you’re Miles Teller, you don’t have to.
