Here’s Where Drake Took Acting Classes [VIDEO]

Date:

Here’s where Drake took acting classes when he was an aspiring actor.

Before Drake was selling millions of records, appearing on Saturday Night Live, and touring around the world with Lil Wayne, Drake was an aspiring actor living in Toronto with his mom. He would later land a role on the hit TV series Degrassi but, his dreams of becoming a rapper didn’t happen until the show was canceled. However, when Drake had dreams of becoming an actor, he took acting classes at the “Young Peoples Theater”.

According to their website, Young Peoples Theater “offers fun-filled and meaningful theatrical experiences. Our classes are led by professional arts educators whose skills are always expanding through our professional development sessions and their own professional experiences. We introduce young people to the theatre and also help them develop into positive, social beings. Their unique voices and creativity shape our world today and will steward it for the future.”

It was at this acting school that Drake learned his acting chops and developed the talents that made him successful.

The YPT drama school “offer various drama classes, camps and ensemble programs for students in JK-Grade 12. Our courses provide children and youth of all levels of experience a chance to express themselves theatrically and discover the power of their own creative voice and imagination, all the while having fun!”
