“Mozart in the Jungle” Casting Call for musicians in New York City.

Mozart in the Jungle was written by Oscar-nominated writer and director Roman Coppola, actor and musician Jason Schwartzman, and Tony-nominated writer and director Alex Timbers.

The project is based on the memoir Mozart in the Jungle by Blair Tindall. Mozart in the Jungle is all about sex, drugs—and classical music—and shows that what happens behind the curtains at the symphony can be just as captivating as what happens on stage.

Casting directors are looking for a male or female bassoon players for the Amazon.com series, “Mozart in the Jungle” filming in New York City.

Filming will take place on September 2nd through November, 4th.

Seeking a SAG-AFTRA male or female to portray a very featured BASSOON player for the Amazon.com series “Mozart in the Jungle“. Works TBD work dates between 9/2-11/4.
