Ryan Gosling’s First Man is now casting new talent in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are looking for actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming between December 13 through the 22nd in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producers are looking for the following types:
- Seeking Men and Women for Various Roles
- Seeking Clean Cut Men and Women / All Ethnicities
- Men must have shorter hair or be willing to cut it / No shaved heads
- Men must be clean Shaven or willing to shave
- Women must have natural colored hair
- Especially looking for women with bob haircuts or willing to let us cut their hair into a bob.
- It is not required for women to get haircut.
- Women cannot have any obvious face/body augmentations
- No Visible tattoos or piercings.
- Ages 20 and older
About First Man:
Josh Singer, who earned an Oscar for his Spotlight screenplay, wrote First Man based on James Hansen’s biography, First Man: A Life of Neil A. Armstrong. Gosling has reportedly been tied to the project since late last year, but only inked a deal to star in the film earlier this year.
After serving as a Navy pilot in World War II, Neil Armstrong joined the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, the precursor to NASA, as a test pilot and engineer. His first mission as an astronaut was Gemini 8 in 1962, during which he performed the first successful docking of two vehicles in space. On July 21st, 1969 he became the first person to walk on the moon as part of Apollo 11.
