Every TV show has a production assistant. Even The Walking Dead has a team of production assistants that assist with the production and filmmaking process of the most watched show on television. If you plan on joining the film industry, working as a production assistant is more or less a rite of passage. Production Assistants are often overlooked and next to background extras, PAs are on the bottom of the production totem pole. However, they work as a team, watching everything, communicating messages across the entire set, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
