Job Description
An educational technology company is casting real teachers, professors, and one Japanese-speaking 10th grade student for a paid project filming in the San Francisco Bay Area (Oakland). This non-union production will feature stills, video, and incidental audio for the education sector.
Casting directors are seeking authentic educators currently teaching (or with legitimate teaching experience) at the elementary, middle school, high school, or college level. A Japanese-speaking high school teacher who can realistically teach a sophomore/10th grade class in Japanese is especially needed. Additionally, one Japanese-speaking 10th grade student of Japanese heritage is being cast. This project is not casting general students—only the specified Japanese-speaking 10th grader.
Filming will take place for one day in early to mid-March. All talent must be based in the SF/Bay Area.
Job Responsibilities

Portray real educators or student roles in an educational setting

Deliver natural, classroom-style interactions on camera

Participate in still photography, video, and incidental audio recording

Take direction from the production team

Requirements

Real elementary, middle, or high school teachers (English speaking)

Japanese-speaking high school teacher able to teach 10th grade level
