Hello, my name is William Brown and I have always possessed an endless passion to perform on stage. From a young age, I have always strove to be a versatile performer. As an actor, I have performed in many different genres i.e. drama, improvisation, comedy etc. While in high school, I participated in the Peformance Theatre and Dance department. It was there that I starred in the school production of F.A.M.E Jr., where I played the role of Nick Piazza. During the summer of my high school years, I partook in the Goodman Theatre's General Studies summer program from 2011-2012 and 2014. The program lasted six weeks and at the end of the program culminated in a production created by both the students and teaching artists. I played the role of Larry in Generations Burn, Dion Williams in Fear And Progress, and Marvin in Heartscape. After high school, attended Illinois State University from 2014-2020 and I received my degree in Theater Studies with a focus in Acting. While in college, I was cast in the school of theater and dance production of Waiora as a Tipuna. I also starred in a student directed production entitled The Dream Play, where I was cast as the Master of Q. In addition to acting, I am also a model and it was at ISU where I became a member of the Exalt Modelling Troupe. We performed in our own fashion shows on campus, as well as the school wide fashion show In The Mix. In 2020, I graduated from ISU with a degree in Theatre Studies w/ a focus in acting. Last year, I received my first few TV credits as an extra on the Fox show Empire and The Big Leap. I also starred in a commercial for Jim Beam which. Because of my participation in the commercial, I was eligible for membership with SAG-AFTRA of which I am currently a member. I have had a great start to my career so far but I am striving to go above and beyond, and with hard work and perseverance I know I will reach that next level.
