Whitney Richardson was born and raised in Maryland. She has always been passionate about the arts from a very young age. Drawing and painting was her propensity from brith however, Whitney plunged into the performing arts later in life. Whitney Received her Dual Bachelors Degree in International Business and Management form Penn State University. Later, she went on to Pursue a Masters in Graphic Design from The University of Baltimore where her passions for the arts erupted. This intrigued her love and interest in Photography—later she switched Universities altogether. Whitney enrolled at The Academy Art University in San Fransisco for Motion Picture and Television; where she came to yet another crossroad between directing or producing. She took a course in theater and realized she enjoyed being in-front of the audience/camera more than behind the scenes. This started her two and a half year journey of the performing arts! Whitney can be seen on Netflix’s The Messiah and CBS Instinct. Whitney’s work also includes her role as Ayana in the up coming film Aimless and the Feature Film The Exit Row. Whitney Surged into theater in the production for The Rockefeller special with Silver Spring Stage Theater and James and the Giant Peach with DreamWrights Theater. ​ Whitney has found her niche. She is continuously growing and developing her craft to help pave the way as a symbol of prosperity for other young arts who also find themselves on the crossroads of life. She believes that no matter the direction or how many right or left turns you make along the way—follow your heart and more importantly never ever give up on your dreams.
