Pierre McElhaney A native of Gastonia, born as Pierrieaiil Lamar McElhaney aka Pierre McElhaney is known for his wittiness and natural ability to “bring it” when he is performing. Pierre, also known as Pastor P, grew up in a small, hometown neighborhood, in Gastonia, NC. He remembers putting on musical performances and talent shows in the heart of a neighborhood where friends were also considered family. He embarked upon his acting/music career at age 13, singing in his church’s youth choir and performing in school dramas. He is a 1993 graduate of Ashbrook Senior High and was named “Most Talented Male” in his senior year. Pierre went on to study at Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC. Following his dream of making it big, Pierre left college to pursue his acting/singing career. Pierre traveled the country and performed on countless stages. He made his acting debut in Janice Feaster’s “Get Your House In Order.” Pierre continued to travel starring in Gospel Stage plays such as "My Grandmother Prayed for Me," "A Fool for Love," “Scandoulous,” "Honey I Got Laid off," & "Happy Ending," just to name a few. He also showcased his vocal abilities as a background singer for Johnny Gill, Cuba Gooding Sr. & Dottie Peoples. In 2016, Pierre starred in his first movie, Cynthia P. Stitt’s “Elephant in the Room.” As an acclaimed actor, Pierre turned his talents towards directing hit performances such as "Great White Throne of Judgement," "Armed & Dangerous," "No Longer the Victim," & God of A Second Chance." Currently Pastor P is writing his own pieces! In November 2013, Pierre wrote “I Want My Mama Back.” In February 2016, Pierre released another show entitled, “With this Ring.” November 2019, Pierre wrote his latest piece entitled, "Bags 2 Riches!" In January of 2020, Pierre was nominated for Best Supporting Actor! An awards show that was to be held in Las Vegas! Pierre is the owner/founder of NeZo Entertainment!
