Born In 1982, a native to Lorain, Ohio, Melisa grew up living with her grandparents Frances and James Lasure. She attended Clearview High School as well as Lorain County J.V.S. While in J.V.S she attended the Culinary Arts program, graduating in 2001. Back in her 20's she had everything figured out. She had a career path and the schooling to proceed with her choice. But life has a funny way of changing even the best made plan. So at 28 after a medical emergency she was left, "with do nothing and live off of the system" or "learn what she could still achieve on her own." She has never been a quitter or one to back down from a challenge. True, she may back off and regroup, but she will not give up. Holding on to this core value, she discovered her passion for writing. With her drive to see her words come to life,she is right there at the tip where things are starting to get exciting. 2016 saw the birth of her first written work "The New Reign" but what will the future hold? Let's find out together. Adding some modeling, Social media influencing, and other outlets for her work... What she does and where life leads her, is still an open road.
