As a runner-up in the 1997' Ms' Los Angeles Premiere pageant, Kookie caught the acting bug and decided to relocate to L.A.. While in pursuit of an acting career, Kookie was contracted as a background actor for the 2008'-2009' Nickelodean's All That as well as background appearances on many daytime and network TV shows. Kookie can also be seen on the 2000' MGM/Mahar Production's Deal of a Lifetime, starring Michael Wallace and Kevin Pollack. After entering the Army in 1999', from 2007-2012, Kookie launched her first podcast endeavor, which was a show dedicated to entertainment, social talk and news. Having not realized how to approach her purpose, Kookie struggled with maintaining her iMedia presence and would eventually go into hiatus. After gaining insight from an industry friend, Kookie realized that she wanted to use her platform for empowering others through content that would not only be meaningful but relatable. In 2019 Kookie relaunched The Talk Spot LIVE's Dear Coach Kookie #abeautifulmess, brought to you by Ready Rise Release, LLC and is now broadcasting through iHeart Radio, Spotify and Apple Podcast. Through her podcast platform, now, Kookie talks personally on subjects that affect mental, social, spiritual, physical and behavioral health, to offer a sense of empowerment to her listeners.
