Last season The Walking Dead wrapped up filming just before Thanksgiving so it make sense the series planned on finishing before Turkey day.

While The Walking Dead is on hiatus, the graphic novel writer and producer Robert Kirkman is currently working on the show’s spin-off. Details surrounding the spin-off have not been released. However, the new series will be center around the zombie apocalypse on a new area outside of Georgia. It will follow a new group of people through the same zombie apocalypse, and maybe feature the first days of the pandemic.
