Season 6 finale of AMC’s hit TV series has left a major question unanswered and is leaving millions of fans wondering – who did Neagan kill?
The Walking Dead fans are bashing their fingers on their keyboards writing petitions, bad reviews, and Twitter expletives after watching Sunday’s cliffhanger episode.
Based on the comics, Negan is the worst villain The Walking Dead has ever experienced and he has finally made his debut. But fans who expected him to kill a major character were basically left wondering who died thanks to camera’s POV angle.
So Walking Dead fans took to Reddit to try and figure out who was killed off on The Walking Dead and their results are pretty interesting. Here’s what they found out.
Glenn died
Based on the cellocaster‘s analysis, The Walking Dead has decided to pull the plug on Steven Yuen’s character.
“Glenn. Shown last, appears to come from the center rear, which is where our POV was sitting. There’s a lot of other evidence to implicate Glenn: the final loss of his relative purity having brutally murdered Saviors in their sleep, his death triggering a galvanisation of his currently weakened counterpart, Maggie to rise to meet her leadership potential as has been repeatedly hinted at, the dumpster fake-out death with Nicholas, and the fact that Glenn is the one to scream out in protest to Negan, using up the group’s only “freebie.”
Eugene died
Based on Hexodus, The Walking Dead wanted to kill off Eugene because fans don’t like him.
He’s an upper-mid “rank” character in terms of how much fans like him. To go with an upper ranking character like Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, or Michonne? I just doubt it. Daryl is too fan-favorite, with a blank no-comic slate. Glenn already had his fake out, and to kill him again would make non-comic viewers even more outraged than this stupid cliffhanger did. Maggie, no. It’ll be a dude anyway, with all the backlash of when Beth died. Also why I don’t think it’ll be Michonne, but doubly so when you consider it’ll be the third of Rick’s girls who have been killed. Again, more outrage would ensue. AMC knows they need to cool it with the bullshit. An upper-mid character like Eugene would get just enough emotional response without killing someone better off. I think Abraham will get his next season, but not like this. He’ll die a soldier’s death. Also, to point 2…
