‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Recurring Role Casting Call Leaks Online

Date:

A new ‘Walking Dead’ casting call has leaked online and it looks like Jesus is joining the cast.

According to Spoil The Dead, a new Walking Dead casting call has leaked online and casting directors are apparently looking for the character, Jesus a.k.a Paul Monroe.

Paul Monroe, more commonly known as “Jesus”, is a main character first encountered in Issue 91 of Image Comics’ The Walking Dead and is a survivor and resident who lived in a community called the Hilltop Colony which held almost two hundred other survivors. Paul now resides in the Alexandria Safe-Zone, but eventually was forced back to the Hilltop Colony. While initially mistrusted by Rick Grimes and his group, he eventually gains their respect as a valued comrade. He currently serves as Maggie Greene’s right-hand man at Hilltop.

Casting directors are looking for Caucasian or latin men to audition for the new role. “He can be a thief, but he’ll only steal half of what you have, and only if he knows it won’t cause any permanent damage. He’s generally a benevolent guy”. This is a recurring guest star role for the possibility of several other seasons.

Filming will take place starting August 22nd through November 19th.

[JASON] Late 20s-30s, CAUCASIAN / LATINO. Smart, friendly, and charming with a puckish sense of humor. He can be a thief, but he’ll only steal half of what you have, and only if he knows it won’t cause any permanent damage. He’s generally a benevolent guy — pretty much making friends with everyone he meets. RECURRING GUEST STAR W/ SERIES OPTION FOR SUBSEQUENT SEASONS (7/16). ARTIST MUST BE AVAILABLE 8/22-11/19.

Season 6 of AMC’s The Walking Dead was confirmed on October 2014 that AMC had renewed The Walking Dead for Season 6. Recently, ‘The Walking Dead’ showrunner, Scott Gimple revealed details about season 6 of ‘The Walking Dead’. “I said the show reinvents itself every 8 eps, and we’re doing it again, friendos. Now that these characters know they have what it takes to survive, what are they going to do with that power? How will they choose to live?”
