Star Wars casting call for extras leaks online.

Star Wars 9 is only a few weeks out from officially shooting, with The Force Awakens director JJ Abrams back in the director’s chair. As production for the upcoming sequel beings to speed up, more details have been released. However, according to reports, a casting call has been leaked, which many claims reveal a scene between Finn and Poe.

Production for the new movie starts this summer on Episode 9, which does not have an official title yet. All of the movie’s leading actors are expected to return including John Boyega and Oscar Isaac reprising their respective roles as Finn and Poe. Daisy Ridley is back as Rey, and Adam Driver will finish out his villainous storyline as Kylo Ren.

The supposed casting call that leaked is looking for “stern-faced individuals” who can work as background extras throughout the month of August. It is believed that Finn and Poe’s major scene is taking place at some kind of bar, with these extras working in the background. It is also believed that this is a major scene, and it will be filming for several weeks.

Nothing is official at this stage. At this point in time, we know that Keri Russell has been announced as a new cast member. Billy Dee Williams is also confirmed as Lando Calrissian. As of now, Mark Hamill has not been confirmed to return as Luke Skywalker.

Some claim Lando will save Han Solo through time travel, which has some fans excited. But the possibility of Harrison Ford coming back to the series sounds too good to be true.
