A truck loaded with guns and grenades drove into a Bastille Day crowd at the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France killing at least 70 people.

Though the total number of fatalities have not been released, French media have reported up to 74 dead and 100 injured

The driver of the truck is dead, according to France’s interior minister, but it remains unclear if he was working alone.

The truck was loaded with guns and grenades and witnesses claim that the driver exchanged gunfire with law enforcement.
