‘Arrow’ Actor Manu Bennett Arrested for Punching a Man

Australian actor, Manu Bennett, was arrested and charged with assault after punching a man at Alamo Comic-Con.

San Antonio police have arrested Hobbit and Arror actor Manu Bennett on a misdemeanor assault charge while he attended the Alamo City Comic Con.

Bennett was arrested early Sunday following an assault in progress call from the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Project Casting has learned. Bennett was held on $1,600 bond. Police say the actor punched a 29-year-old man at the hotel.

Manu Bennett also known as John Bennett or Jon Bennett, is an Australian-New Zealand actor. He is known for playing as the Gallic gladiator Crixus in the Starz television series Spartacus, appearing in the The Hobbit, and the CW show ‘Arrow’.
