John Cho Reveals ‘Star Trek 3’ Will ‘Blow You Away’

John Cho is confident that Star Trek 3 will still be an amazing movie even without J.J. Abrams as director.

Star Trek 3 will have a different director from the previous two, but John Cho believes the new sequel will be amazing.

John Cho  who plays Hikaru Sulu in Stark Trek and Star Trek 2, recently participated in a Reddit AMA, where he answered questions about the upcoming feature films. “I’m absolutely confident in Bob,” Cho said. “No one knows these characters better than Bob. And no one knows the Star Trek universe better than Bob.”

Robert Orci co-wrote and produced the first two movies. Orci is currently writing the new Star Trek movie J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay. “I think he’s going to blow people away,” Cho continued about Orci.

John Cho currently co-stars in the ABC TV series, Selfie, and Paramount plans to release the Star Trek sequel in 2016.
