History Channel’s ‘Vikings’ was renewed for a fourth season.
According to reports, History’s hit drama series Vikings has been picked up for a fourth season after averaging over 4 million viewers an episode.

Five episodes into its third season run, History’s hit drama Vikings has been picked up for a fourth season. For the first five episodes of Season 3, Vikings is averaging 4.3 million total viewers, 2.2 million adults 25-54 and 2.0 million adults 18-49 in Live+3, ranking as the No. 1 cable series on Thursday nights in all key demos. Production on Season 4 will begin this spring in Ireland.
Vikings is inspired by the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, one of the best-known mythological Norse heroes and notorious as the scourge of England and France. It portrays Ragnar as a former farmer who rises to fame by successful raids into England, and eventually becomes King of Denmark, with the support of his family and fellow warriors: his brother Rollo, his son Bjorn, and his wives—the shieldmaiden Lagerthaand the princess Aslaug.
