Every Renewed And Canceled Network TV Show Of 2018

Date:

Here’s the full list of network TV cancellations of 2018

There is a major shift in the TV industry. According to Indiewire, the “New Fox” is canceling shows such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Last Man on Earth to make room for newer shows. As Indiewire explains, the “new Fox” is a movement that pushes the network to rely on “tried and true broadcast staples” such as “multi-camera comedies, procedural dramas, live sports”. Why is Fox doing this? According to reports, the network is attempting to attract the older-skewing middle America audience who continue to watch broadcast television.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been the most popular story of the year after it was canceled by Fox. The show landed a mid-season arrival at NBC for season six.

CBS also shocked the world by canceling several of their comedies including Kevin Can Wait. Despite high ratings, the network canceled the series after its second season.
