Atlanta Faces New Competition in the Film Industry

Date:

Los Angeles and Atlanta now face new competition in the film industry.

In the 1990s, Croatia featured tons of movies and TV shows but all that came to an end due to a war. But, the film industry have recovered. In 2012, the nation introduced a film production incentive that offers a cash rebate of up to 20%, according to Variety. The new cash rebate is based on total qualifying expenditure, without a value-added tax. However, it does not apply to commercials or reality TV.
