Stand-Ins & Doubles for FX
Series RESERVATION DOGS
Paid Work on Sterlin Harjo / Taika Waititi
Comedy Series Filming in Okmulgee, Tulsa

A need for stand-ins and photo doubles has been announced as the television series RESERVATION DOGS begins filming soon in central Oklahoma.

The FX television series is executive produced by Taika Waititi. It is written, directed and produced by award-winning Oklahoma filmmaker Sterlin Harjo.

The comedy series is about four Native American teenagers growing up on a reservation in eastern Oklahoma.

Filming will be in the Okmulgee, OK area, with some scenes filming in Tulsa.

A stand-in is used on set, standing in place of actors so the camera and lighting crews can make adjustments in between shots, allowing actors to get their hair, makeup and wardrobe changes. They work very closely with the Director of Photography, and watch all rehearsals and performances of the actors in the scenes. The job requires patience, dedication, and the ability to follow directions. They also must have a very similar height, weight, hair color and skin tone of the actor they are standing in for.

A photo double is used on camera in place of the actor they are doubling. Photo doubles often sit in cars filmed at a distance, or are seen from their back, when the actor they are doubling is not available for that shot. A photo double needs to be the same height, height, skin tone, hair color and shape, as seen from the back.

COMPENSATION & TESTING
Pay for stand-ins and doubles is a guarantee of $120/day for up to 10 hours of filming.

Anything over 10 hours in a day will incur additional compensation.
Anyone selected to be an extra in this film must test for COVID-19 at the production's testing facility in Tulsa, OK. Following testing and before employment, all persons must complete online COVID-19 safety training. Compensation for testing and safety training will be an additional $100/person.
