Synopsis: Two couples engage in an adult conversation about the choices that people make.
ROLES (ensemble cast):
JOE - 35 to 40 years old, male. Open ethnicity. Psychopathic, suburban everyman with a warped sense of humor. He probably suffers from Peter Pan Syndrome and constantly needs validation.
CHERYL - 35 to 40 years old, female. Open ethnicity. Married to Joe. Has lots of life experience and struggles to find her way out of her current situation and lousy marriage. She did things she thought were asked of her: college, marriage, and a house.
MIKE - 35 to 40 years old, male. Open ethnicity. Academic hipster who probably teaches some obscure writing course at the local college. He still needs to find his place in this world but does become passionate about everything he focuses on. He uses logic and tries to do everything correctly.
MAGGIE - 35 to 40 years old, female. Open ethnicity. Married to Mike. Was the beautiful girl next door 20 years ago. She is a little immature, but because of crappy job choices and the pop music she listens to (that Mike can’t stand), she's a little hardened yet still gullible and immature about the world around her.
