Casting Call: Stand-In for Film Production
Casting Alert: We are currently seeking an African American male aged between 20's and 40's for the role of a stand-in in an upcoming film project. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in the film industry and looking to gain on-set experience.
Job Detail:
- Date: Friday, March 8th
- Location: Details will be provided upon selection.
- Payment Method: A check will be mailed approximately two weeks following the shoot date.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the director, cinematographer, and other crew members to assist in setting up lighting and camera angles.
- Stand in for the principal actor during the technical preparation of the scene, including lighting, framing, and focus.
- Follow directions accurately and maintain a professional demeanor on set.
- Be prepared to repeat actions or maintain positions for extended periods as required for technical preparation.
Requirements:
- Ethnicity: African American Male
- Age: 20s to 40s
- Height: 5'10" to 6'
- Weight: 155 to 180 lbs
- Must closely match the physical characteristics of the actor for whom you will be standing in, particularly in height and skin color.
- Availability: Must be available all day on Friday, March 8th without any time constraints.
- Documentation: Must have a current government-issued ID and a social security card, or a US passport for payroll purposes.
- Experience: Previous stand-in or on-set experience is preferred but not required.
- Must have reliable transportation to the set location.
Compensation: $172 for 8 hours of work. Overtime (time and a half) will be paid for any work over 8 hours.
