Extra (Greenwich Village) "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" Casting Call in New York

NON UNION Men & Women to portray 1960s Greenwich Village Pedestrians. Ages 18-99, all ethnicities for background work on the Golden Globe & Emmy Winning award show THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, season 4!

EXTERIOR WORK! SUMMER/EARLY FALL SEASON WARDROBE. 

Must be okay working around atmospheric smoke. No wool allergies.  Interior work.  Men must be okay getting a 1960s haircut if needed and being clean shaven on the shoot date.  Women's hair requirements are as follows: No fashion colors. No wigs. No weaves. No braids. No undercuts. No ombré or unnatural looking highlights. No roots if hair is colored. Hair must be above the shoulders, it cannot touch the shoulders. If hair touches shoulders, it will need to be cut by our hair dept. Short hair is ok. Any texture is ok. Gray hair on more mature women is great.  NO TATTOOS FOR WOMEN! Men cannot have any visible tattoos that won''t be covered in a suit.

The series will being filming in NYC. Will be asked to attend a wardrobe fitting in Brooklyn before work date. There will be mandatory covid tests prior to fitting and work date(s). Covid tests are provided by production and are paid. PPE must be worn at all times at fitting and on set when not on camera. 

Tentative shoot date is 3/26.  Covid test on 3/24 & 3/25. Wardrobe fitting on Tuesday 3/23 with a covid test on Monday 3/22.  Must have full day availability for the shoot dates as we don't get the call times until the day before.  (covid tests are in the morning).  Fitting, tests and filming take place in Brooklyn. 

Please do not submit if you've already worked so far on season 4. 
PAID GIG! - $210/12hrs for each shoot date.  $60 stipend for covid test. SAG rates apply to SAG members.
