'CURLS' Feature Film Principal Role in New York by JPA Casting

• 40s to 50s.
• Latin male.
• Authentically of Dominican descent. Karlo is a dapper Dominican barber who came to America to build his dream of having a family and running his own barbershop.
• Open to different physiques, but ideally he is portly.
• When Avi stops by his shop desperate to get the same fade haircut in his “Papi Chulo” magazine, Karlo teaches him the importance of not just throwing away one’s roots.
• Dominican Spanish speaker a plus, but not a requirement.
