Our client in the global product design and technology space is searching for a Senior Art Director to join their team. In this role, you will lead the motion graphic art direction for our long-form broadcast projects and select short forms. Your primary role is to translate existing collateral around our product launches into imaginative and captivating, full broadcast package style guides. This includes lower-thirds, full-screen motion graphic typography treatments, supers, transitions, product offer cards, etc. Your secondary role is to direct and collaborate with a small team of internal and external 2D motion designers and 3D animators. You must be able to lead a team to fulfill your vision and deliver a tightly polished final product under tight deadlines. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity for those who reside in OR, WA, CA, TX, and NC at this time. As the Senior Art Director, you will:<ul><li>Creative Leadership: Spearhead the strategic art direction for our video projects, collaborating closely with internal clients and teams.</li><li>Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of talented artists, including motion graphic artists, 3D animators, and video editors, to ensure the highest quality output and adherence to project timelines.</li><li>Concept Development: Develop multiple concepts and create presentations showcasing your work, delivering them to brand, creative, and executive teams. This includes the capacity to promptly receive and respond to feedback with a positive attitude.</li><li>Motion Graphics Expertise: Utilize industry-standard software and tools to create and direct compelling motion graphics, visual effects, and animations.</li><li>Trend Awareness: Keep a close eye on industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that our motion graphics executions and techniques remain cutting-edge and effectively complement the launch of new products within our brands.</li><li>Project Management: Work with producers and project managers to ensure the team produces content that meets our standards within our timeline. Pivot and communicate plans, strategies, and concerns as needed. This may require replacing key team members and negotiating scope changes.</li></ul> Who we’re searching for / About you:<ul><li>6-10 years working in an agency or creative department</li><li>Prefer degree or accreditation in graphic design and/or motion design</li><li>Experience working with major brands</li><li>Must be enthusiastic about leading the charge, rallying your team around a vision, and having a clear point of view. This skill will ultimately lead you to elevate to an ACD within the agency quickly.</li><li>A deep passion for storytelling through motion graphics and graphic design.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership abilities across everything from hands-on creative execution that you present to the client, to directing a team of creatives through the job and across the finish line.</li><li>Proven experience in a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing design systems, typography, and ideally, broadcast motion graphic packages.</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects. 3D expertise is a bonus.</li><li>Strong communication, project management, and client management skills.</li><li>Storyboarding and animatic skills/ experience preferred.</li></ul> We know that experience is gathered in many ways. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer/Marketing Production for a future-forward commercial real estate brokerage firm client based in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR. This role is hybrid and candidates must reside in the Portland or Seattle metro area or be willing to relocate. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required along with two to three years of graphic design experience. Real Estate (commercial or residential) marketing experience is required. Typical tasks include but are not limited to: • Produce best-in-class marketing content which includes, but is not limited to, property offering brochures, proposals, presentations, email campaigns, branded collateral, social media and company projects as needed. • Quick turn around on templated Executive Summary and Proposal marketing collateral. • Produce custom marketing materials as needed. • Photography retouching. • Assist with managing daily creative project flow and prioritization.
