Dave Bautista doesn’t think Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a talented actor. Dwayne Johnson and Dave Bautista are arguably the two most successful professional wrestlers to ever become actors, but the two have had very different levels of success in Hollywood. While The Rock has become an A-List actor with dreams of possibly running for president, Bautista has gone for smaller and supporting roles. Bautista says he prefers the success he had, claiming he has no interest in being a significant franchise movie star, as Bautista argues becoming a better actor by doing things his way. An accomplishment he believes he does not share with Johnson. "Rock was, in a way, a movie star before he was even a movie star. There is something about him that’s really special. I’d never take that away from him. Would I consider him a great actor? F--- no,” Bautista explains. It’s clear Dwayne Johnson is special. He became an A-lister and the go-to actor for action movies. Dave Bautista tells Tampa Bay Times one should not confuse being a massive star with being a great actor. Bautista points out that in his brief time in Hollywood, he has worked with great directors like Denis Villeneuve in “Blade Runner 2049” and Sam Mendes in Spectre. He has worked with Oscar winners like Jodie Foster in “Hotel Artemis.” Bautista things the path to success is learning the craft and becoming a great actor and not a huge star. He explains he wants "that respect and credibility and education." That said, Bautista does respect’s Dwayne Johnson’s entrepreneurial spirit. The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions has allowed him to produce most of the movies he has starred in. Bautista is also interested in shifting behind the camera, to directing and possibly produce. The Zika Virus is quickly spreading North and headed towards Atlanta, Georgia. Florida Governor Rick Soctt said Tuesday that a locally transmitted case of the Zika virus has been confirmed in Pinellas County, which includes St. Petersburg and Clearwater. In addition, Florida has reported four more cases of the Zika Virus, just outside of South Beach. That being said, Pinellas County is over 200 miles away from Miami, where Zika poses such a big threat that the Center for Disease Countrol and Prevention (CDC) to have issued a travel warning to pregnant women. A total of 42 people have been infected with Zika in Florida since the outbreak started. “Today, we learned that the Florida Department of Health is investigating one new individual with non-travel related Zika in Pinellas County,” Scott said. “While this investigation is ongoing, [the Department of Health] still believes that ongoing active transmissions are only occurring in the two previously identified areas in Wynwood and Miami Beach.” The non-travel distinction is incredibly important because, as NBC notes, “if a person was infected and has had no contact with a traveler from an affected area, it strongly suggests mosquitoes locally are infected and can spread the virus.” While, the distance from Clearwater to Atlanta is nearly 500 miles. It does seem to show that the Zika virus is quickly spreading across the United States as the virus traveled 250 miles in less than 30 days. To add insult to injury, on Tuesday, a CNN report told the story of Micaela, one of the first babies in the United States to be born with Zika-related complications. While her mother, Maria, was repeatedly told by her physician that her Zika infection would not affect the baby's health, Micaela was born with calcifications in her brain.
