Casting call for black dancers in Vancouver
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- BLACK MALE DANCERS / 19 – 39
- Looking for 1 Male Motion Capture Performer.
- BUILD: Lean and athletic. Longer limbs preferred.
- HEIGHT: 5’10-6’3″ would be ideal but not absolutely necessary. WEIGHT: Slim.
- EXPERIENCE IN MODERN DANCE, CONTEMPORARY, BALLET, OR SIMILAR IS A PREREQUISITE FOR THE TYPE OF MOTION THAT WE NEED FROM THE PERFORMANCES.
- Movement style: effortless, graceful motion. Elegant and poised. Unique and unusual.

- STRONG DANCER

Looking for a very talented male dancer that has experience in Modern Dance, Ballet or something similar. Able to articulate their body in a fluid style. REFERENCES: SOLOMON DUMAS, JERMAIN SPIVEY.

– In a very large space they would need to walk and run across the room or outdoor space to show their natural walking/running movement. – – They would need a full body shot of them walking toward camera and also away from the camera.
– They would need to show us 1.5 mins of dance performance showing a choreography of strong movements, fluid, interesting, unique contemporary/modern/ballet moves.
– Fluid and unique
– Dance attire for auditions. Tights etc. Whatever shows the body type of performer.
