Casting call for a short film (drama) set to shoot early next year;
1 male lead – mid 20s, any height/weight/ethnicity
1 male lead – senior citizen – any height/weight/ethnicity
5 male/female supporting – mid 20s, any height/weight ethnicity
2 male/female supporting – middle age (40s/50s), any height/weight/ethnicity
As you can see, this film is very open, meaning that there is no “look” that we’re going for regarding the characters. The script is finished, but if someone comes along that shows promise, parts can be revised to fit the actor. The most important thing is talent, dedication, and professionalism. Send headshots, resume, and a short paragraph describing yourself and your influences to [email protected] and/or [email protected]. Callbacks will be subjected to audition before hiring. Pre-production prep will be required from the actors (watching related films, spending time/getting to know your co-stars, etc) because we aim to make this film a classic!
It will also be heavily promoted and entered into various festivals/competitions so expect a lot of exposure. There is no monetary compensation, but trust that it will be a great project to add to your resume.
