Jigsaw Casting Ltd. Is Seeking Individuals and Families From Across Canada Affected By Hidden Poverty For An Upcoming Salvation Army PSA!

Description:
The Salvation Army is looking Coast to Coast for people affected by poverty, but who hide it – people who you’d never expect to be living in poverty or hide their struggles (hidden poverty). Our goal is to showcase a range of stories from the elderly, to single parents, to families who experience hidden poverty in different ways.

Story Ideas/Examples: (We are open to other stories and are not limited to just these)
– A cab driver that worked as a doctor before immigrating with his family to Canada.
– An senior, still working a minimum wage job to make ends meet.
– Multiple families living under one roof because they can’t make it on their own.
– A story about hidden poverty that takes place around the Christmas Season.

*Pays approximately $750 per individual if selected

2. You and the family members mentioned in your story’s name(s), age(s)
3. Photo(s) of yourself/your family (Where we can clearly see your face(s). No hats or sunglasses.)
4. Where in Canada you live (City/Province).
5. Are you or have you been involved with the Salvation Army before? If Yes, please explain. (E.G. “I use their services.” “I volunteer with the Salvation Army.” etc.)
6. Your primary contact information (including phone number) *If you are a represented actor, please include your resume & agent’s contact information
7. Please write ‘Salvation Army’ in subject line of email, along with your surname and location. (E.G. Salvation Army- The Jacobsens- Edmonton, AB)

Submissions are due by: Monday April 23rd, 2018
(However the earlier you submit the better your chances!)

You MUST be available for these key dates:
INTERVIEWS: Week of April 23rd (TBD)
(Individuals/Families outside of the GTA can do their Interview over Skype)
SHOOT: 1 Day in early May (TBD – We will travel to you)
