Oprah Winfrey Network casting directors for ‘Queen Sugar’ season 6 are now hiring actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming this February 2021 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Producers are looking for a wide range of background actors to work on the show.
About Queen Sugar:
Queen Sugar is a drama TV series, created, directed and executive produced by Ava DuVernay alongside Oprah Winfrey. The series is based on novel with same name by Natalie Baszile. Queen Sugar follows the life of two sisters, Nova Bordelon (playing by Rutina Wesley), the formidable journalist and activist from New Orleans, and Charley Bordelon (Dawn-Lyen Gardner), a modern woman, who, with her teenage daughter Micah, leaves her upscale apartment in Los Angeles and moves to the heart of Louisiana to claim an inheritance from her recently departed father – an 800-acre sugarcane farm.

This role will work JUNE 2nd in METAIRIE OR NEW ORLEANS
TESTING FOR COVID IS MANDATORY and will TAKE PLACE PRIOR TO FILMING DATES. You will also test on set when filming while on set if you are on set on a MONDAY OR WEDNESDAY.
Must have reliable transportation because filming will be in New Orleans or New Orleans East or the surrounding area
