PBS TV series is now casting kid actors in Toronto, Ontario.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Toronto, Ontario.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • 1) Boys and Girls. Ages 7 to 10. Ability to play and act out make-believe scenarios • Confident, fun outgoing personality • Must have lots of energy, be able to take direction well • Able to act out scenes with other kids. Looking to cast 60 different boys and girls for this role.
  • 2) Children with a visible disability – Male or Female. Ages 7 to 10. Ability to play and act out make-believe scenarios • Confident, fun outgoing personality • Must have lots of energy, be able to take direction well • Able to act out scenes with other kids. Audition is on July 12.
  • 3) Identical Twins. Male or Female. Ages 7 to 10. Ability to play and act out make-believe scenarios • Confident, fun outgoing personality • Must have lots of energy, be able to take direction well • Able to act out scenes with other kids.

Jigsaw Casting Ltd is seeking Kids ages 7 to 10 for a Twin Cities ‘How to Hero’ PBS TV Series filming in Toronto!

Casting the following roles:
1) Boys and Girls. Ages 7 to 10. Ability to play and act out make-believe scenarios • Confident, fun outgoing personality • Must have lots of energy, be able to take direction well • Able to act out scenes with other kids. Looking to cast 60 different boys and girls for this role.

2) Children with a visible disability – Male or Female. Ages 7 to 10. Ability to play and act out make-believe scenarios • Confident, fun outgoing personality • Must have lots of energy, be able to take direction well • Able to act out scenes with other kids. Audition is on July 12.

3) Identical Twins. Male or Female. Ages 7 to 10. Ability to play and act out make-believe scenarios • Confident, fun outgoing personality • Must have lots of energy, be able to take direction well • Able to act out scenes with other kids.

Pay is under the ACTRA IPA contract. Actor Role: $513.75 per session and episode. $1130.25 220% for 10 year buyout. This is a union series. Non-union members are welcome to apply but they must be responsible for their own permit. Non-speaking role. Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply.

– Name of your child.
– Age of your child.
– Role you are submitting your child for.
– Name and phone number of parent.
– Headshot and resume if they have one. If not, please send us some clear photos (no hat or sunglasses) and tell us about his or her acting experience if they have any.
– If you have an agent, please tell us their name and contact information. (It’s fine if you don’t have one)
– Role 1 and 3 – Tell us Which day you are available to audition – July 9, 10, 11 or 12. Children with a disability will only audition on July 12.

AUDITION: July 9, 10, 11 or 12.
SHOOT: August 12 to 24th – TBD which Day. Possible Multiple Shoot days for Talent TBD.
